Rossa Maria (Roz) Grant was born to Robert Dillard and the late Eddie Lee (Toni) Jordan Dillard on August 18, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois. She departed this life on Thursday, January 30, 2025.
She received Christ at an early age. She completed her education in the Chicago Public School System and attended Lincoln College. She worked for Abbot laboratories from 2000 to 2008. For the last 15 years she worked for Anne Kiley Center as a Mental Health Technician Supervisor until her health prevented her from working. On December 22, 1991, Rossa joined the Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of pastor, Dr. B.J. Gaston. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Choir.
Rossa wanted to be loved and gave love freely. She was forgiving and always answered anyone’s calls. She was strong, confident and glamorous. She loved God, her husband, her family, and her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her mother Eddie Lee (Toni) Jordan Dillard and brother Robert (Bobby) Dillard. Rossa will always be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a model church member as well as a very supportive person for all of her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. We all loved her but God loved her best.
