Roy Louis Bauroth

Roy Louis Bauroth, 82, of Wadsworth, IL passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, December 13, 2024. Roy suffered from COPD. Roy was born in rural Zion on August 25, 1942. He served in the Army from 1963-1967.

Roy is survived by his wife, Rachel (Naffziger) Bauroth; his sister, Helen Miner; and extended family, including nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. 

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Louise Bauroth; sister, Ester; and first wife of 50 years, Ruthann (Mauser) Bauroth.

Roy retired as a heavy equipment operator from Midwest Operating Engineers, and most recently retired from farming cropland around Lake County. 

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Cornerstone Community Church, 40413 N Delany Rd., Wadsworth, IL 60083.
