Sandra Marie Zradicka

Sandra Marie Zradicka, 78, of Waukegan, IL passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan, IL. She was born August 7, 1942 in Waukegan, IL and lived in Waukegan all of her life. Sandra Owned and operated Sheer Magic Beauty Salon for over 50 years. She still did hair for a special few up until her death. She loved anyone she crossed paths with. She was an earth “Angel” that always thought of others before herself. Sandra loved to keep active and enjoyed spending time playing cards with anyone who was up to playing, going to shows at the Fireside Dinner Theatre, and many trips with friends and family. She recently spent a week in Florida with her sisters that meant so much to her. She leaves behind her husband of 60 years, Joseph "Joey" F. Zradicka; her 3 children, Connie L. (Fred) Hammond-Cashmore, of Lake Villa, IL, John C. (Joan) Zradicka, of Kenosha, WI, and Steven J. Zradicka, of Waukegan, IL. She was a loving grandmother to Nicholas Zradicka and Daniel (Vicky) Hammond; great-grandmother to Madeline Zradicka, whom she shared a special bond with, and Helena Haney, Luna Zradicka, and Giuliana Hammond. She is also survived by her sisters, Sharon (Charles) Lowrance of Wadsworth, IL, Brenda LoMonaco of Grayslake, IL, Cindy Brauck of Greeley, CO, Karen Brauck of Grayslake, IL, and brother, Blaine (Phyllis) Brauck, of Pleasant Prairie, WI. She is also survived by her Aunt, Cathy (Ron) Allen of Conroe, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins that all loved her very much. She will be missed by her faithful companion Pepper "Pepe". She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy M. Brauck on April 17, 1977; father, Clifford D. Brauck on September 29, 2010; and brother David Brauck on July 18, 2005. A service will be held at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church where Sandra was a long time member. The church is located at 1310 N. Frolic Ave, Waukegan, IL and visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service starting at 12:00 pm. on Thursday, July 8, 2021. Interment will follow at Mt Olivet Memorial Park, Zion, IL.
