Sandy Waller, 75, of Zion, IL, passed away peacefully at home on January 5, 2016.
Sandy was born August 2, 1940 in Fulton, MS. She loved her children, grandchildren and family, she passed her time listening to country music and collecting pictures of her family. Sandy was a good example as she never judged anyone and never met a stranger. According to her, she had the perfect life.
Sandy is survived by her children, Sandra Wood, Linda (Tim) Makinen, Donna (Dan) Losch, Johnny (Debbie) Petree, and Marie Vedum; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother Hank (Paulette) Johnson; nephew Chris Johnson; and a niece Angie Martin.
She was preceded in death by her parents Eunice and Ervis Johnson; and a son-in-law Jackie Wood.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, with Rev. John Davis, officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
