Shirley Ann Wagner (nee Roach), 69, of Zion, Illinois, died on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at home and surrounded by her family. Shirley was born March 11, 1941 in Chicago and moved to Zion in 1976. She was a member of Our Lady of Humility Church of Beach Park. Shirley was employed in the Deli at Piggly Wiggly of Zion, retiring after 10 years. She was a kind and gentle soul, whose favorite past-time was being with her family. She was an avid reader, gardener and Jeopardy fan. Survivors include her children, Mary (Kevin) Stirnichuk of Beach Park, Diane Higgins of Waukegan, Maureen (Rick) Urbina of Waukegan, Donna (Rocci) Cecil of Winthrop Harbor, David (Cindy) Wagner of Winthrop Harbor and Patricia (Brad) Walters of Beach Park; sixteen grandchildren, Jeffrey (Gemma) Stirnichuk, James (Holly) Stirnichuk, Brian (Heather) Stirnichuk, Timothy Stirnichuk, Shaun Wagner, Samantha Marinello, Erica Urbina, Elizabeth (Fiancé Justin Moffitt) Cecil, Rocci Cecil III, John Wagner, David Wagner, Stephanie Wagner, Jason (Angel) Walters, Scott (Monica) Wagner, Michael Walters and Eric Walters; thirteen great-grandchildren, Kayla Stirnichuk, Samantha Horning, Tyler Stirnichuk, Emily Stirnichuk, Kyra Stirnichuk, Liliana Wagner, Janalise Jimenez, Christopher Troutman Jr., Wesley Moffitt, Marshall Moffitt, Alexander Wagner, Chase Walters and Samuel Walters; one sister, Mary Doyle of Alsip, Illinois; one brother, Jack (Ingrid) Roach of WinterHaven, Florida; and a brother-in-law, Bob Jones of Cave City, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terrence in 1993; two sisters, Jean Jones and Patricia Williams (and her late husband, Ray); one brother-in-law, Mike Doyle; and her parents, Joseph and Marie (nee Cizek) Roach. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 29, 2010, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, Illinois. Services will be on Thursday, September 30th, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, going to Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 W. Wadsworth Road, Beach Park, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Evergreen Park, Illinois.
