Siedah Nouvi (Cookie) Mickens, 30, of Zion, Illinois, passed away on Sunday November 27 th , 2022, in Waukegan, Illinois. Siedah was born in Chicago, Illinois to Gerald Mickens and Odessa Adams on January 29 th , 1992.
She enjoyed playing the violin and singing. She loved her family dearly. Siedah is survived by her Mother Odessa Adams of Zion, Illinois, and her bonus mother, Eileen Warren of Racine, Wisconsin. She is also survived by her siblings Sharica Franklin of Zion, IL; Sharice (Dante) Bell-Willis of Park City, IL; Timothy Bell of Kenosha, WI; Takeisha Adams of Zion, IL; Gus Bell of Racine, WI; Jessica Bell of Zion, IL; bonus siblings Daniel Warren and Michelle (Blaine) McNeil and a host of nieces and nephews.
Siedah is preceded in death by her Grandfather Gus Bell, Grandmother Odell Bell, Father Gerald Mickens, and bonus sister Christie Fruits.
Visitation will be held at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church on Thursday December 8 th , 2022, at 10:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am service. Reverend John A. Mc Bride officiating. Repast will follow at Zion Leisure Center, 2400 Dowie Memorial Drive Zion, Illinois 60099. Congdon Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.
