Stacy Naffziger

1935 — November 17, 2011

Stacy Alfred Naffziger, 76, went to be with his Lord on November 17, 2011 at his home with his wife by his side after a long illness. Stacy was born January 5, 1935 in Zion. In 1941 his family moved to Yorkville, WI where they farmed. He graduated in 1952 from Union Grove High School in Union Grove, WI. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Madison in 1957 from the College of Health Services. He married Margery Parsons on June 16, 1956. In December of 1961 he started Ru-Mar Concrete with Martin Griesheimer. He sold his business and retired in 1997. He is survived by his wife, Margery; children, Michelle (James) Nisbet, Deborah (Jeffrey) Hendricks, and Joel (Renee) Naffziger; seven grandchildren, Jacquelyn and Andrew Senter, Justin and Rebecca Nisbet, and Alec, Dana, and Erin Naffziger; sister, Carol Galambos; brother, David Naffziger; aunt, Mabel Ball; and numerous extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents Al and Pearl (Mill) Naffziger; and brothers-in-law, William Galambos and Francis Parsons. Visitation will be Saturday, November 26, 2011, from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Christ Community Church, 2500 Dowie Memorial Drive, Zion, IL. Funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Jon Wiziarde officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Christ Community Church for either Camp Zion, or missions, has been suggested.
