Susan M. (nee Panesi) Poyer, 60, of Waukegan, IL passed away August 29, 2016 at home. Susan was born June 5, 1956 in Chicago, IL. She was a long time librarian in the Waukegan and Zion areas. She was a faithful member of St. Dismas Catholic Church and Most Blessed Trinity Parish (Holy Family), both in Waukegan. Susan enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Glenn Poyer; children, Arthur (Julie) Poyer, Christopher (Dawnielle) Poyer, and Anna (Angel) Poyer-Lopez; 7 grandchildren, Alex, Jaylen, Kaitlin, Noah, Tyson, Camile, and Gabriel; siblings, Mary Jo (Daryl) Sorrell, Rick (Sandy) Panesi, Judy Russell, and Josette (Jesse) Reyes; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Claire Panesi; and brother David Kohrman. A visitation will take place Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. A funeral mass will take place Friday, September 2, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Most Blessed Trinity Parish (Holy Family), 450 Keller Ave., Waukegan, IL.
