Susan Kaye Scalzo, born on January 26, 1953, passed away on February 28, 2025, in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. A graduate of Zion-Benton High School's Class of 1971, Susan led a life marked by diverse experiences and heartfelt passions.
Throughout her career, Susan was dedicated to her work at Chrysler until her retirement. Her love for animals was evident in her care for her two cherished cats and her commitment to feeding and providing for local wildlife. Susan's green thumb was reflected in her flourishing gardens, where she nurtured a variety of flowers and plants. She also found joy in playing cards and was always eager to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Susan's journey took her from Zion, Illinois, to Kenosha, Wisconsin, and extended to California and Missouri, before she settled in Pleasant Prairie.
She is survived by her mother, Verma Jensen, who resides in Pleasant Prairie with Aunt Marty Daniels. Susan was a beloved sister to Michael, Steven, Mark, Leann, and Lizabeth. Affectionately known as "Wonderful Aunt Sue," she held a special place in the hearts of her nieces and nephews. Susan's generous spirit, love for animals, and dedication to family and friends leave a lasting legacy. May she rest in peace, embraced by the arms of Jesus, after a life well-lived.
Thank you Susan for sharing your life with us. A celebration of life to be determined at a later date.
