Terri Darrow

Terri Darrow, 64, of Antioch, IL died on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at home peacefully in her sleep. She was born June 24, 1951 in Waukegan. Terri retired from NOSCO in Gurnee in 2013. One of her favorite things to do was boating on the chain-o-lakes. Survivors include her Fiancé Len Ekdahl; children Christopher Ekdahl and Kevin (Amanda) Ekdahl both of Winthrop Harbor, IL; one grandson Ryan Ekdahl; and three cousins Susie (Don) Beck of MO, and Kathy Lewis and Richard Lorenz both of CA. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Arlene Spengler; three aunts Shirley (and the late Fred) Hauser of MO, LaVerne (and the late James) Lorenz of CA, and Gladys Wilkins of WI; and one cousin Susan Hollick of CA. A memorial visitation will be Saturday, February 20, 2016, from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL, with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your favorite animal organization. After the service at the funeral home please join the family for a celebration of life buffet beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the Winthrop Harbor V.F.W., 1112 Sheridan Road, Winthrop Harbor, IL.
