Troy R. Haines

Troy R. Haines, age 68, of Beach Park, Illinois passed away unexpectedly on May 31, 2016, from injuries he sustained when he was struck by a vehicle. He was riding his motorcycle to meet a friend for a game of golf. He was a Chiropractor in Beach Park and Zion for 40 years, retiring August 31, 2014. His greatest passions were golfing, motorcycling and woodwork projects. He was a former member of the Zion Benton Moose and a current member of the Kenosha H.O.G. Chapter. Troy is survived by his loving and devoted wife Jeannette of almost 49 years. Also surviving are his daughter Jami Haines (Maryann Esguerra) of Gurnee, IL, son Bryan (Shauna) Haines of Antioch, IL, two grandchildren Leah and Leighton Haines who fondly called him G.G. (Grumpy Grandpa). He is also survived by his mother Delores Cook and siblings Lynn Farrington (Mary Jane Muir), James Cook (Rebecca), Dwayne Haines (Dian), Debra Albers (Cory) and Shane Haines (Suzanne). He was preceded in death by his father Troy M. Haines, his in-laws George and Stephanie Swalley and a brother-in-law James Swalley. Visitation will be Saturday, June 4 at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity of choice.
