Veronica Stella

Veronica (Roni) Stella, age 88, of Park City, IL passed away February 21, 2025 in Libertyville, IL. Veronica was born February 24, 1936 in Chicago, IL. She graduated from St. Columbkille High School in 1953. She met and married Anthony Stella in Chicago and spent 57 years together until his passing in 2011.

Veronica began her clerical career as a bookkeeper at Petropoulos Bros Appliances in Gurnee and retired from Dupont Critical Care, now Baxter Critical Care, in McGaw Park as payroll coordinator. 

Veronica was a skilled seamstress who could create and repair almost anything with her sewing machine. Her other interests included crocheting, reading, and playing bingo with dear friends. 

Veronica is survived by two daughters, Judy of Park City, IL, Jane of Raymond, WA; one son, Michael of Mesa, AZ; one grandson, Cameron Turner of Raymond, WA. We miss you. 

The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated and caring staff of Avantara Libertyville and Sanctuary Hospice who provided care and comfort in her final months. 

A private family service will be held to celebrate Veronica's life.
