Veronica Wade

Veronica Wade, 65, of Waukegan, Illinois passed away July 18, 2024 in Libertyville, Illinois. She was born November 16, 1958 in Leland, Mississippi to parents Wille Wade and Clotee Davis.

Veronica was employed at the Ann Kiley Center as well as PADS of Lake County. She received her bachelors in psychology from Columbia College of Missouri and went on to earn her Master's Degree in social work from Dominican University.

She is survived by her son, Antione Wade; brothers, Greg and Jeff Wade; 15 nieces and nephews; and 20 plus great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wille and Clotee Wade; brothers, Marvin and Alan Wade; and sister, Celeern Wade.

A visitation will be held Monday July 29, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home 3012 Sheridan Road Zion, Illinois 60099 followed by a service at 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home.
