A graduate of Senn High School, he met Eleanor Stohl, who became his wife of 58 years, at Wright Junior College. During later years, he was a commercial Realtor with Century 21-Maki United, and also designed and built custom room additions, decks and gazebos. He was an avid sportsman who played softball in Waukegan church leagues and basketball at the YMCA, enjoyed golf, bowling and fishing and was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan. Wally was a faithful Christian husband, father, businessman and friend to so many in the Chicago and Lake County areas. Survivors include his wife, Eleanor; son Kenneth (Janet); daughter Kristina; son Randall; and many loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Adolph and Norman.
