William (Bill) Frederick Ferger, 52, of Pleasant Prairie, WI, passed away peacefully at St. Catherine’s Hospital, surrounded by his family on April 16, 2018.
Bill was born March 21, 1966 in Waukegan, IL to Frederick D. Ferger and Annemarie Gleason. He spent most of his childhood in Winthrop Harbor, IL. He attended Zion-Benton Township High School and The College of Lake County and received a Technical Diploma for Welding in 1984. He also spent most of his adult life living in Zion, IL living with his family. He most recently was living in Pleasant Prairie, WI with two of his sons. He was a former employee of Waukegan Steele and he was the Welding and Fabrication Shop Manager at Aldridge Electric but most recently work for Dill Brothers in Zion, IL. Bill was a lover of nature and enjoyed taking his beloved dog Sasha to the beach for long walks. Bill had four children and four grandchildren that he dearly loved, enjoyed playing with, and helping them any chance he had.
He is survived by his children, David W. Ferger (Robin Wyroski), Brenda A. Ferger, Thomas N. Ferger, and William P. Ferger; Grandchildren, Aiden Ferger Braim, Avalynn Perotto, Calloway Perotto, and Raven A. Ferger; former wife, Trudy Pulaski; his mother Annemarie Gleason; his brothers Robert Ferger and Michael Ferger; his sisters Linda Ayala, Joanne Bryson, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick D. Ferger, his brother Gary G. Ferger, his sister, Jan Custer, and his grandparents.
A memorial service and dinner celebrating Bill’s life will be held on
Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
