William Robson

William L. Robson, 99, of Zion, IL died on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. William was born March 13, 1912 in Cuba City, WI and came to Waukegan in 1938. He was employed by Armour & Company in Waukegan and retired from Walker's Wholesale Meats of Waukegan. William had been a member of the Waukegan City Club and the Elks Club of Waukegan. Survivors include his three daughters, Mary Jane Koenig of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Priscilla (Michael) Murrieta of CA, and Holly Lopez of Zion, IL; six grandchildren, Jeff (Jennifer) Koenig, John (Diane) Lopez, Christine McGrain, Melissa (Patrick) Peterson, Jill Tock, and Rob Koenig; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Jack Robson of Cuba City, WI; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen in 1990; his son-in-law, Jim Koenig; his father and mother; two brothers; and four sisters. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private for the family at Oakdale Cemetery.
