Willodean Robinson

Willodean Robinson, 95, of West Chicago, IL, formally from Zion, IL, passed away October 28, 2024, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL.

Willodean was born November 2, 1928, in Shottsville, AL, to Oscar and Michigan Shotts. She attended school in Shottsville. On May 10, 1948, Willodean married Elbert Robinson in Bexar, AL. She was a member of Faith Community Church in West Chicago.

Willodean is survived by her children, Barry W. (Sherrie) Robinson, and Patricia G. (Lorry) LaBelle; grandchildren, Mark L. (Shannon) LaBelle, Kimberly D. (Benjamin) Ackert, Heather L. (Adam) Siegenthaler; Daniel W. Robinson, Amy E. (Paul) Rhody; great-grandchildren, Tristan M. (Hannah) LaBelle, Miranda B. (Addison) Boyer, Stephen M. LaBelle, Clara Ackert, Nickolas Ackert, Rachel Ackert, Jacob Ackert, Jane Ackert, Gavin Rhody, Malakai Rhody, Millie Siegenthaler, Paige Siegenthaler, Olivia Robinson, Jack Robinson; great great grandchildren, Julia, Natalie and Emily; step-great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn LaBelle, Rylan Tyler, and Myra Denlinger; other surviving relatives, Brenda (Charlie) Collum, David Robinson, and Virginia Joiner, Jeffrey (Terri) Robinson, Lana (Mac) McNees, Steve (Alisa) Robinson, Chris (Tanya) Robinson, Sharon (Roger) Swarat, Marilyn Ferguson, Martha Holley, Carol Ellen Gann, Scott Gann, Linda Murray and other nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Elbert M. Robinson, Jr. and parents, Oscar and Michigan Shotts.

Funeral service will take place on Monday, November 11, 2024, at 11:00 am at Faith Community Church, 910 Main Street, West Chicago, IL, with a visitation to begin at 10:00 am. Interment to take place at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion, IL, on Tuesday November 12, 2024, at 10:30 am.
