Linda L. Muns-Holmes, 70, of Wadsworth, IL passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at home.
Linda was born March 16, 1948 in La Crosse, WI to Kenneth and Mary Muns. She spent most of her life in Milwaukee, WI before moving to Zion, IL and later Wadsworth, IL. She was a waitress at Bob and Anne’s in Waukegan and Starlight Restaurant in Zion and also worked at the Zion Currency Exchange. She was a member of Amazon Motorcycle Club and a faithful contributor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She loved Betty Boop, Hazelnut coffee creamer, and cigarettes and was an avid #1 Bears fan. Most of all, Linda adored her grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her children, Tamika Henke, Troy Muns, Jonathan Holmes and Nicole (Harry) Williams; eight grandchildren, Jasmine, Covington, Lil Jon, Emahni, Jaiden, Jadiana, Jamir, Nyhsir and Dynasia; great-grandchildren, RayLynn, Jordan and Armoni; siblings, Janice Aguirre, Donna (Eugene) Johnson, Larry Muns, Terry Muns, Mike Muns, Randy Muns and Tim Muns; best friends, Agnes, Celia, Anna, Dolly, Audrey Mae, Nancy, Julie Mae and Maria; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, KarenTappero, Gloria Jones and Michele Muns; brother, Robert Muns; and nephews, Justin and David Muns.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 11:00 a.m.
