Obituary of Virginia Nahf

Virginia H. Nahf, 80, of Waukegan, Illinois, died on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at Sheridan Health Care Center in Zion. She was born March 2, 1928 in Waukegan and lived in Waukegan all of her life where she had worked at both Johnson Motors and Illinois Bell. Virginia enjoyed country music and gardening and she was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan. Survivors include her children, Debra (Bill) Weyrich of Fountain Hills, Arizona; and Edward Nahf and David Nahf, both of Waukegan; and one brother, Donald Olson, of Beach Park. She was preceded in death by her husband, Waukegan Police Officer Edward Nahf, in 1977; one brother, Henry Olson; one sister, Gloria Olson; and her parents, Henry and Selma Olson. A cemetery graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16, 2008, at 11:00 a.m., at Northshore Garden of Memories, Green Bay Road, North Chicago.
