Obituary of William Estes

William E. Estes, 65, of Waukegan, died on Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at Glen Lake Terrace Nursing Home in Waukegan. William was born July 23, 1943 in North Chicago. He retired in 1998 from Anchor Glass Company in Gurnee and he served his country with the United States Army. Survivors include his wife, Deborah; sons, Steven of Waukegan and Eric of Hawaii; and his in-laws, Andy and Beulah Huff of Marion, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Estes and Flora Young. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, with Pastor Dan Hanners of Zion Church of God officiating, and private cremation to follow. Visitation will be Thursday, from 9:30 a.m., until time of services at the Funeral Home.
