Obituary of Michael Kirtz

Michael Patrick Kirtz, 28, of Beach Park, IL, died suddenly on Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at home. He was born July 29, 1980 in Waukegan. Michael is survived by his two children, Tyler and Violet Kirtz, both of Silver Lake, WI; his father and mother, David and Nita Kirtz of Beach Park, IL; one sister, Kathryn Kirtz of Beach Park; one nephew, Rockwell Swartz of Beach Park; paternal grandmother, Mary Ellen Kirtz of Gurnee, IL; maternal grandmother, Helen Murley of Zion; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lester J. Kirtz; and his maternal grandfather, Perry Murley. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2008, at 12:00 noon, at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, with Dr. Rob Whitworth of Meadowridge Church of Zion officiating and private cremation to follow. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the Congdon Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations for his children are being accepted.
