Obituary of Rita Schultz

Rita Lorraine Schultz, (nee Sayball), 76, of Buffalo Grove, IL, formerly of Zion, IL, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 20, 2009. Rita was born April 3, 1932, in Lowell, MA. She married her late husband, Carl Schultz, a Naval Officer, and moved the family to Hawaii for 3 ½ years. Her family moved to Great Lakes, IL, for Carl's last years of duty and retired. Years later they built a home in Zion, where they resided for over 25 years. Survivors include her children, Glenn (Linda) Schultz and Robbin (Joseph) Johnson; grandchildren, Eric, Matt, John, Jake, Cathy, Mike, Scott, and Angela; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Hannah, Rachel, and Joshua; sister, Theresa (Paul) Ducharme; sister-in-law, Rita Sayball, and all her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Carl in 2004; brother, Denis Sayball; and her parents, Harry and Alice Sayball. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., IL, with Pastor Mel Svedsen officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 25, 2009, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
