Obituary of Lillian Miller

Lillian A. Miller, 79, of Waukegan, IL, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2009, surrounded by her family at home. Lillian was born July 7, 1929, in Waukegan, and married Dale Miller on November 9, 1946, in Waukegan. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Dale; daughter, Donna (Dave) Zeilbeck of CO, Ginny (John) Kennedy of Zion, IL; son, Daniel Miller of Waukegan, IL; daughter, Mickie Miller of Alaska; son, Tim (Pam) Miller of Winthrop Harbor, IL; and daughter, Wendy Bolin of KS, and Cindy Lampi of Waukegan, IL; grandchildren, David, Joseph, Michael, John, Mary, Brandon, Paul, Tony, Tim Jr., Debra, Ricky, Adam, Matthew and Kirsten; nineteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty (Glenn) Miller of Bartlett, IL and Sandra Spores of WI; numerous nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Evelyn Lloyd of Zion, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Esther Dickens; step-father, Julius Schmidt; beloved aunt, Marie Sorensen; brothers, Charles Dickens and Lawrence, John and Walter Donald, son-in-law, Rick Bolin; grandson, Matt Damitz; and granddaughter-in-law, Janine and Baby Kennedy. Funeral Services are private for the family. Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl. Memphis, TN 38105 in Lillian's name.
