Obituary of Thresia Eaton

Thresia G. Eaton (nee Sutter), died on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Thresia was born August 20, 1920 in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin. She resided in Winthrop Harbor since 1959 and was homemaker staying at home to raise her seven children. She became a member of Our Lady of Humility Church in Beach Park upon moving to Winthrop Harbor. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, George Eaton of Winthrop Harbor; two sons, James Eaton of Florida and Joseph (Lana) Eaton of Arkansas; three daughters, Mary (Edward) Folsom of Zion, Carol Thompson of Winthrop Harbor and Judith (Geoffrey) Blackwell of Vernon, Connecticut; daughter-in-law, Linda Eaton of Antioch; nine grandsons, eight granddaughters, three great-grandsons; eleven great-granddaughters; two sisters, Martina Scott and Geraldine Post, both of Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by two sons, John Eaton on October 27, 2004 and David Eaton on February 4, 2007; her parents, Leo and Thresia Sutter; three brothers and four sisters; her first husband, Samuel Leu (KIA-WWII); and a daughter-in-law, Julane Eaton. Visitation will be Saturday, May 2, 2009 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. A memorial mass will be held at a later date in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin. Memorial donations to American Cancer Society have been suggested.
