Dino Joseph Ingoglia, 49, of Zion, IL, passed away and is at peace from a long battle with cancer on Saturday, June 13, 2009, at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion.
Dino was born September 21, 1959, in Waukegan, IL, and worked as a millwright for Local # 1693 for 30 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Humility Church in Beach Park. Dino loved hot rods, car shows, especially Nostalgia Days and Scoop the Loop, he could hardly wait for summer and these events to drive his '65 Ford Pickup. He enjoyed life, golfing, and his lifelong childhood neighborhood friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 21 years, Jackie Ingoglia (nee Rivelh); one daughter, Nina, at home; one son, Michael of CA; grandson, Gianno also of California; father, Salvatore (Tibbs) Ingoglia of Zion; mother, Trudy Ingoglia of Waukegan; sister, Gina (Doug) Roberts of Zion; two brothers, Tony (Donna) Ingoglia of Beach Park and Mario (Tammy) Ingoglia of Gurnee; two nieces; four nephews; and his favorite companion dog, Rocky, who was by his side always.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Humility Church, 10655 West Wadsworth, Beach Park. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
