Obituary of Kimberly Dodd

Kimberly Dodd, 47, of Beach Park, Illinois, died on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Kenosha United Hospital in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Kimberly was born August 28, 1961 in Chicago, was raised in Fox Lake, Illinois and moved to Waukegan in 1985. She loved her daughters, was an avid sprint car fan and she enjoyed living on the lake in Fox Lake. She will be greatly missed by her husband, daughters, and many family and friends including those at Sheridan Medical Complex in Kenosha. Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Darrell; daughters, Stephanie and Jessica both of Beach Park; her father, Jon Swem of Florida; one sister, Tammy Conklin of Kenosha County; one brother, Jeffrey Swem of Kenosha County; her half-sister, Shannon Canal of Maryland; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Hansen; and her grandmother, Gertrude Adkins. Visitation will be Sunday, June 21, 2009, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 22nd, at 10:30 a.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion.
