Obituary of Cynthia Holland

Cynthia "Cindie" Holland, 54, of Beach Park, Illinois died on Sunday, July 26, 2009 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. Cindie was born September 18, 1954 in Waukegan. She was a member of Christ Community Church of Zion where she was active with the sign language choir. She was employed as office manager for North Point Marina for the past 18 years and prior to that worked as credit manager for Burgess, Anderson & Tate of Zion. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Harvey; two sons, John Holland of Beach Park and Andrew (Meghan) Holland of Coral Springs, Florida; one step-daughter, Shawna (Mike) Bellefeuille of Winthrop Harbor and their child Jada; one step-son, Randy (Michelle) Holland of Winthrop Harbor and their children David and Nikki; two sisters, Nancy Sandefur of Zion and Kimberlee Sandefur of Centralia, Illinois; one nephew, Jim Gumm; one niece, Tami Gumm; and great-nephews, Anthony and Vincent Angeloff. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, William and Janice Sandefur; and one niece, Janice Gumm. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 3, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, with Pastor Jon Wiziarde of Christ Community Church of Zion officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
