Obituary of Elsie Bolotnik

Elsie A. Bolotnik Elsie A. Bolotnik, 82, of Zion, IL, formerly of Waukegan, died on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at Vista East Medical Center in Waukegan. Elsie was born October 28,1926, in Nebo, VA, and married William Bolotnik on September 26, 1953, in Roanoke, VA. She attended Radford College in Virginia, Elsie was formerly employed as a bookkeeper for Ravinia Hardware in Highland Park and Helander's Stationary in Lake Forest. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors include sons, Tony (Nicole) Bolotnik of McConnell, IL, and Alexander (Christine) Bolotnik of Waukegan, IL; grandchildren, Justin Bolotnik, Courtney (D.J.) Urban, Zhenya Bolotnik, and Ruslan Bolotnik; great-grandson, Caden Nelson; sister-in-law, Mary Hoffmeyer of East Pointe, MI, and numerous nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bolotnik; father and mother, Chester and Esther Catron; brother, Monte Catron; and sister, Louise Ward. Services are private for the family. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society .
