Obituary of Lynn Machnik Crocco

Lynn A. Machnik Crocco (nee Reinhard), 67, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, died on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at home. Lynn was born March 18, 1942 in Chicago, was raised in Deerfield, IL, lived in Florida for 30 years and moved to Winthrop Harbor 12 years ago. She was a member of the Winthrop Harbor Planning and Zoning Committee and the Winthrop Harbor Economic Development Commission. Lynn retired from Volusia County Florida after 20 years of service and from the Catholic Charities for the Chicago Archdiocese, Waukegan office, after eight years of service. Survivors include her daughters, Michele (David) Kremer of Winthrop Harbor and Wendy (Brent) Taylor of Mt. Dora, Florida; grandchildren, Nikki Obrien, Shane Obrien, Whitney Taylor, Alexa Taylor, Glenn Kremer, Nick Kremer, Rachel Kremer, and two surrogate granddaughters, Sara Billeck and Allie Boothe. She was preceded in death by husbands, Ralph Machnik and Jerry Crocco; one brother, Keith Reinhard; and her parents, John and Ruth Reinhard. A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, November 7, 2009, at 10:30 a.m., at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church, Old Church, 15000 Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth, IL with Deacon Phil Fragassi officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to either Catholic Charities or Midwest Hospice have been suggested.
