Raymond Haggerty

Raymond Haggerty, 87, of Zion, Illinois, died on Friday, November 6, 2009 at V. A. Hospital in North Chicago, Illinois. Raymond was born December 3, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois. He lived a good life and served his country well. Survivors include 2 nephews, and 2 nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and brother and sisters. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the exceptional care and extends thanks to his caregivers at Brown Group Home (VA Group Home). Visitation will be Friday, November 13, 2009, from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion. Interment following at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois. Memorial donations to Brown Group Home, 3220 Emmaus Avenue. Zion, Illinois 60099 have been suggested.
