Obituary of William Seppala

William J. "Bill" Seppala, 55, of Pleasant Prairie, WI, formerly of Waukegan and Zion, IL, died on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. Bill was born October 3, 1954, in Waukegan and was a graduate of Grayslake High School. He married Rebecca Cook on May 9, 1992, at the First United Methodist Church in Waukegan. Bill was a former employee of Vista Medical Center West in Waukegan. He was an artist, romantic, mechanic and Harley lover. His feats were many and his talents amazing. He leaves many friends who remember him for his fun-loving, easy-going sweetness. Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Rebecca; sons, John D. Seppala of Kenosha, WI, and Daniel J. Seppala of Pleasant Prairie; brother, Gene V. (Joy) Seppala of Zion; sister, Lynn (Sonny) Reynolds of Minnesota; aunt, Cookie Wallace; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. Bill was preceded in death by his father and mother, Eugene and Martha Seppala. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at 12:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion. Interment is private for the family. Friends may greet the family on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
