Obituary of John Anderson

John Keith Anderson, 81, died at home on Wednesday, September 1, 2010. He was born in 1928 in Kenosha, WI. He married his high school sweetheart, Joan C. Solberg, in 1948. They lived their entire married life on the family farm in rural Zion, Illinois. He worked for 30 years as a machine repairman at American Motors in Kenosha. During his retirement years he operated an apple orchard. He leaves to honor his memory his loving wife, Joan; four sons, Robert (Kathy) Anderson of Zion, Wm. Russell (Sue) Anderson of Waukegan, Richard (Kathy) Anderson of Kenosha, WI, and Raymond (Camille) Anderson of Zion; five grandsons, Robert, Nicholas, Christopher, Kyle, and Kevin; four granddaughters, Lisa, Nicole, Amy, and Melissa; one great-granddaughter, Mariah; and three great- grandsons, Alex, Mattias, and Jonas. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 5, 2010, at 1:00 p.m at North Prairie United Methodist Church, 9th Street and Kenosha Rd., Winthrop Harbor. Memorial donations may be sent to North Prairie Church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
