Andre Jodon Triplett (Dre)
March 25, 1983 - November 16, 2010
Andre was affectionately called and known as (Dre) by his friends and family.
He was born a preemie and arrived two months early. Andre must have decided that he would just use those two extra months to get an early start in life! He gave his life to Christ at a very young age and then was baptized. He was a member of Trinity Christian Center in Zion. Family and friends were everything to him! Andre embraced life and was always on the go.
Anyone that ever met Andre knew he had a great sense of humor. He cared about so many people. Even when he was ill and in the hospital he would ask the care providers how they were doing and if he could do anything for them.
Andre was a kind, sweet, gentle and loving man. He was a servant of God and spent many hours in God's work. He was employed by Starbucks in Kenosha, WI. He graduated from North Central University with a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and minor in Photojournalism. He loved to take pictures and could really capture those special moments in life! He very much enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends. He didn't waste one minute of his life and he lived it to the fullest! Whenever he was sick, as soon as he was better, off he would go. He loved his brother and they were very close, and enjoyed doing so many things together. He also had a strong love for music!
Andre was a loving brother and son. He touched so many lives and so many of those people touched his heart! To all of his friends, acquaintances, and family we thank you for being a part of his life!
On November 16, 2010 God decided he wanted Andre to come home to be in his presence as a reward for a job well done! 'To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.'
We will always love Andre. We will always miss him and think of him often! We will not say goodbye to him for we will see him again!
Andre was preceded in death by his grandfather Willie Herring, grandmother Flayvee Herring, and his grandfather William R. Staples, Sr.
He is survived by his father Charles Triplett, his mother Yvonne Triplett (Staples) and his brother Charles Triplett Jr all of Zion, IL. His grandmother Violet Staples of Burlington, WI and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including special friends Michael Rivera, Gabriel Maldonado, Adam and Joshua Cantrell
WE LOVE YOU ANDRE!
