Obituary of Charles Drenner

Charles Dennis "Chuck" Drenner, 70, of Pleasant Prairie, WI., passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 25, 2010, at home, after a day of golf and surrounding himself with family on Thanksgiving Day. Chuck was born June 29, 1940, in East Lynn, W. VA., and married Eileen Pavlik on February 16, 1963,in Racine, WI. He partnered with his wife Eileen in Drenner and Associates of Pleasant Prairie, WI. Chuck served with the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He was an avid golfer. Chuck will be sadly missed by friends and family. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Eileen; two daughters, Pam (Al) Scaletta of Hawthorn Woods, IL, and Tracy (Darren) Smith of Winthrop Harbor, IL; six grandchildren, Josh (Stephanie) Smith, Justin Smith, and Jake Smith, all of Winthrop Harbor, Hillary, Emily, and Evan Scaletta of Hawthorn Woods, IL; great grandson, Mason Charles Smith of Winthrop Harbor; three sisters, Beulah Ooten of Myrtle, W.VA., Doris (Delbert) McCallister of Naples, FL, and Karen (Jim) Bousson of Pleasant Prairie, WI; brothers-in-law, Lerry (Josie) Pavlik of Manheim, PA, and James (Kathy) Pavlik of Caledonia, WI; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles "Charlie" and Hagar Drenner; and brother-in-law, John Ooten. Visitation will be Sunday, November 28, 2010, from 4:00-9:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 29, 2010, at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. Memorial donations are suggested to a foundation to be established in memory of his grandchildren.
