Obituary of Margaret Kramer

Margaret M. Kramer, 90, of Waukegan, Illinois passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2011 in her home among her family. "Mardy" was born October 3, 1920 in a farm home in Coggon, Iowa to the late J. Francis and Lena (Cosgrove) O'Brien. She attended grade school in a one room school house where she was taught by her aunt. Margaret married Paul E. Kramer on September 12, 1942. Home was Waukegan after W.W.II where three children were born and raised. She was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church, Waukegan. "Mardy" was a devoted wife and mother, liked by all who knew her. She was cherished for her listening nature, kind smile, and will be deeply missed by survivors Ron (Maricela) Kramer of Austin, Texas, Sue Kramer (Bob) Edge Jr. of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, and Kathy Kramer (Dale) Biscardi of Byron, Illinois - Too Da Loo Mom!; grandchildren, Kris and Carl Kramer of Texas, Kathleen and Kelly Edge of Illinois, and Troy Biscardi of Pennsylvania and Angela Biscardi of Illinois; and sisters Dorothy Jack of Independence, Iowa and Katie Rogers of Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, February 22, 1979; sister Eileen; and brother, Earl O'Brien. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME , 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, Illinois with Rev. Stanley Uroda SVD, officiating. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, Illinois. Visitation will be Friday, January 14th , from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the Congdon Funeral Home.
