Obituary of Irving Bjerke

Irving O. Bjerke, 95, of Zion, Illinois died March 9, 2011 at Rolling Hills Manor. Irving was born December 29, 1915 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Grace; two sons Irving Bjerke and John (Stormie) Bjerke; sister Helen Richmond; sister-in-law Gretta Morrison of Munising, Michigan; and many nieces and nephews. Irving was preceded in death by two daughters Roberta and Helen Bjerke; two brothers P.J. and Harold Bjerke of North Dakota; one sister Henrietta; and one brother-in-law Herb Richmond. Services will be private for the family with Irving's pastor, Reverend David Eikenberry of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Waukegan, officiating. Memorial donations may be made in his honor to your preferred charity.
