Obituary of Janine Reynolds

Janine Reynolds, 55, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, died on Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at Lake Forest Hospital, Lake Forest, IL. Janine was born January 13,1956, in Milwaukee, WI, and graduated from Milwaukee Lutheran High School in 1974. She married Albert "Gene" Reynolds on January 10, 1981, in San Diego, CA. Janine was a member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Pleasant Prairie, WI. She was formerly employed by the Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, IL, as Administrative Assistant to the Chair of the Psychiatry Department. Janine was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She bravely battled cancer for 10 years. Survivors include her husband, Gene; daughters, Natasha (Jordan) Davis of Beach Park, IL, and Meghann Reynolds of Winthrop Harbor, IL; grandchildren, Hunter Reynolds, Remi Davis, Zach Reynolds, and Corbin Reynolds, mother, Virginia Obermire; and sister, Julie Wolfgram both of Minneapolis, MN Janine was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Obermire. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2011, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 20, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 8411 Old Green Bay Rd., Pleasant Prairie, WI, with Pastor Sean Smallwood, officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park, 14875 W. Greenfield Ave., New Berlin, WI. Memorial donations are suggested to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in Janine's name.
