Ethel Malloy, 97, of Waukegan, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2011, at Hillcrest Nursing Center in Round Lake Beach, IL.
Ethel was born October 5, 1913 in Chicago, IL. She bowled with the Bally Muck Woodchoppers in Waukegan for 25 years and had membership in the Seniors Club of Waukegan, the Monday afternooners, and the Women of the Moose Zion Chapter #859.
Survivors include her children, John (Mollie) Malloy and Kathaleen (Don) Zwicke; grandchildren, Catherine (Bill) Engstrom, John Malloy, Mark Malloy, Margaret (Mike) Prosser, and Duane Zwicke; great-grandchildren, Erika and Allison Engstrom, Melanie Engstrom and husband, Will King, Anna Malloy, Jack (Briana) Malloy, and Zachary, Melissa, and Patrick Prosser; great-great grandchildren, Tyler, Max, Taj, and Brandon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Malloy; 3 sisters, and 2 brothers.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011, at 10:00a.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL, Visitation will be Thursday, August 4, 2011, from 6:00-8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
