James Kolle

James "Jim" Kolle of Beach Park, Illinois went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 22, 2011 at Aurora Health Care in Kenosha. Jim was born October 16, 1949 in Chicago, IL to his wonderful parents, James W. and Nancy Kolle. Jim is a graduate of Niles North High Class of 1968. Jim served 4 years as trustee in Round Lake Beach. Jim was a loving husband, father and "Papa" to his 2 precious grandchildren Tyler and Chelsea. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Susan; "Daddy's Girl" Mary "Pickles" (Jeff) Claussen, loving son James Steven; his parents Jim and Nancy; five sisters, several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Fred and Winnifred "Nana" who was the love of his life, his brother Steven and best friend Dave Debolt. Jim had been living at Glenlake Terrace Nursing and Rehab in Waukegan before he passed. Jim and his family very much love and appreciate all the staff and residents who touched Jim's life. Many staff members at Glenlake showed such love, friendship and dedication to caring for Jim which is appreciated by the family. Join us on Saturday, August 27, 2011 for a celebration to honor the life of Jim Kolle at In-Law's Restaurant at 720 Milwaukee Avenue, Gurnee, IL 60031 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a special remembrance service at noon. In lieu of flowers, please assist the family with monetary donations for Jim's burial costs.
