JoEllen H. Kelley

JoEllen H. Kelley, 72, of Zion, IL died June 2, 2016 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan, IL. JoEllen was born July 8, 1943 in Worthington MN. She married Austin Kelley on June 16, 1990 in Lake Forest, IL. JoEllen worked as a GS at Great Lakes Naval Station in Illinois for 20 years and was a member of the O.E.S Ransford Chapter 43 in Worthington, MN. She enjoyed rides on Austin’s motorcycle, making crafts for gifts to give to charities and family members, concerts with Austin, especially Country Thunder, and enjoyed traveling. Survivors include her husband, Austin; step-children, Janie (Brian) Clark and Barbara Butterick; 3 grandchildren, Rhiannon and Morgan Wilkin, and Corbin Butterick; brother, James (Linda) Hudson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ellen Hudson. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Worthington Cemetery in Worthington, MN at a later date.
