David "Dave" Lincicome, 67, found peace on April 13, 2017 close to home in Antioch, IL. Born October 10, 1949, Dave was the eldest son of his late parents Homer and Shirley. Raised in Winthrop Harbor, IL, he spent much of his life living in Lake County, but most recently lived in Johnsonburg, PA with his dogs, often referred to as his "boys,” Roscoe and Rusty. Upon their passing, he returned to Illinois one last time.
Dave was an excellent cook who most enjoyed experimenting with new recipes and cooking for others. He was most at peace in the outdoors, having a green thumb and building things; he also took up photography later in life, enjoying taking pictures of everything he saw in his travels. He spent much of his free time riding motorcycles, traveling, camping and fishing.
He is survived by his three children, Jeanine (Jim) Richards, Jim (Janice) Lincicome and Grace Lincicome; his brother Gary Lincicome; and nine grandchildren Zachary, Nathan, Joshua, James, Sarah, Jonathon, Jeremy, Caleb and Jayden. He will also be deeply missed by his loving partner, Stephanie Prest, and his dearest friend, Sharif Ibrahim.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at 11 AM on Saturday, May 13, at Christ Community Church - 2500 Dowie Memorial Dr., Zion, IL 60099.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention or the National MS Society.
