Obituary of Barbara A. Haroian

Barbara A. Haroian, 67, of Kenosha, WI passed July 31, 2017 at her home with her family by her side.

Barb was born December 23, 1949 in Cleveland, OH. She graduated from Carmel High School and married Paul Haroian on August 12, 1973. Barb worked as a closing officer at Chicago Title for many years prior to retiring. She devoted her life to caring for others, especially her grandchildren and her many fur-babies over the years.  She enjoyed nature, especially bird watching, spending time with her family and friends, and sharing her joy with everyone she met.

Survivors include her children, Jason (Nikki) Haroian, Stephanie (Melvin) Pagan, and the many people who called her mom; 5 grandchildren, Christopher, Alexandria, Kaytlin, Sophia, and Fiona; siblings, Elizabeth Lama and Charles Macaluso; nieces and nephew, Jennifer, Nikki, Amie, Michael, and many extended family members and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; parents, Charles and Elizabeth Macaluso; and dear friend, Virginia Antonian.

A visitation will take place Friday, August 4, 2017 from 11:00 until 1:00 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL, with a funeral service following at 1:00 p.m.Interment will follow at Northshore Garden of Memories, North Chicago, IL.
