Obituary of Susan M. Franz

Susan M. Franz-Martinez, 50, of Wadsworth, IL, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017, at Vista Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Waukegan, Il on September 3, 1967, the daughter of the late Edward Franz and Nan Sutherland Bosner.  She was educated in the schools of Waukegan and graduated from Waukegan High.

On May 23, 1992, she married John Martinez in Waukegan, IL.  She was employed by Vista health Care for over 25 years, she enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her daughters and family.

Surviving Susan, is her husband John Martinez, three daughters; Sarah, Emily and Rebecca Martinez, one sister Janice (John) Coia, stepfather, Edward Bosner, mother in-law Grace Martinez. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Susan is preceded in death by her father Edward Franz, mother Nan Bosner, brother Gary Globis and father in-law Jesus Martinez.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, December 6,th at the Congdon Funeral Home 3012 Sheridan Rd. Zion, IL, from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 P.M..  Interment will be private.
