Obituary of John Hangebrauck

John "Hunky" Hangebrauck, 59, of Winthrop Harbor, IL died on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Grove At The Lake in Zion, IL. He was born March 23, 1953 in Waukegan, IL. John was a member of New Song Church of Zion and he had worked for Pepsi Cola in Gurnee for a brief time. He was an avid Chicago Black Hawks fan, Chicago Bears fan, and a Chicago Cubs fan. Survivors include his mother Patricia Hangebrauck of Winthrop Harbor, IL; two sisters Karen (Harrison) Goodkin of Tucson, AZ and Penny Kramer of Somerset, KY; and uncle Al (Carol) McCormick of Summerfield, FL. He was preceded in death by his father Harold Hangebrauck. Visitation will be Friday, November 2, 2012, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Rev. David Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to New Song Church have been suggested.
