Obituary of Veronica C. Welsh

Veronica Caes Welsh (5/3/1942 - 2/25/2018)
Waukegan - Veronica C. Welsh was born on May 3, 1942 in Moline, Illinois to farmers August and Alice (nee Timmerman) Caes.  She danced into heaven on February 25, 2018 with a full and thankful heart.  She was united in marriage to Charles (Chuck) Welsh for 41 years until his passing in 2002.  Veronica fully embraced her faith in Christ, homemaking, and loving each one of us.  She is survived by her four children, Michelle (Steve) Lentz, David (Shannon) Welsh, John (Kathy) Welsh, and Michael (Carolin)Welsh; grandchildren, Warren Lentz, Amy Lentz, Mary Lentz, Patrick (Michelle) Lentz, Anna Lentz, John Lentz, Steven Welsh, Jennifer Welsh, Christian Welsh, Emily Welsh, Johnathan Welsh, Kelly Welsh, Daniel Welsh, Christopher Welsh, Rebekah Welsh, Abigail Welsh, Joseph Welsh, Hailey Welsh, Kaitlyn Welsh; many extended family members and a multitude of friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck Welsh.  Memorial visitation from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 2, 2018 at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion.  A funeral celebration will be held at Christ Community Church, 2500 Dowie Memorial Drive, Zion, IL, Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 9:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, Veronica requested memorials be sent to the American Center for Law and Justice, or the Family Research Council.
