Obituary of Linda Torres

Torres, Linda 52, of Zion, IL died on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan after a long battle with Lupus. Linda was born July 20, 1959 in Eureka, Missouri. She and her husband Raul owned and operated Linda's Family Restaurant in Winthrop Harbor. Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Raul; children Nancy Torres, R.J. Torres and Katy Torres all of Zion; one grandson, Micklo Torres; siblings Mike Hooper, Mike Clark, Blake Hooper, and Danny Hooper all of Missouri; and one aunt, Violet Norgan of MI. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Kester and Ileane Nancy Hooper. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2011, at 4:00 p.m. at Waukegan First Church Of The Nazarene, 3132 N McAree Road, Waukegan, IL with Pastor Jerry W. Harris officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until time of services at the Church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Waukegan First Church Of The Nazarene have been suggested
