Obituary of Alex "Buddy" Brown

Alex “Buddy” Brown. 58, of Zion, IL passed away June 24, 2018 at his home surrounded by his beloved family. 

Buddy was born December 2, 1959 in Leighton, Alabama. He later moved to Illinois where he attended the schools within the North Chicago School District. He attended and graduated from North Chicago High School. Alex spent many of his years as a butcher at the Great Lakes Commissary. On October 20th of 1988, Buddy and Linda Lear were united in marriage. He and Linda have been longtime members of Jesus Name Apostolic Church in Waukegan, Illinois.

Buddy leaves to mourn his wife, Linda, his children Kebron Lear, Damian Lear, Demarcus Brown, Crystal Brown, Nycole Minter, and Saqonia Brown; sixteen grandchildren; and his sister Caroline (Gregory) Harrington. He is preceded in death by his son, Henry “Deshon” Lear.
                                            
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 29th from 10:00am - 11:00am with a Service to follow at 11:00am at Jesus Name Apostolic Church 150 South Genessee Street, Waukegan, Illinois 60085. He will be laid to rest at Mount Olivet Memorial Park 1434 Kenosha Road, Zion, Illinois 60099.
