Obituary of Lorraine Morgan

Lorraine M. Morgan, 86, of Winthrop Harbor, IL, died on Monday, November 12, 2012, at home. Lorraine was born July 15, 1926, in Metropolitan, MI, and was a graduate of Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI. She taught school in Michigan and Illinois and eventually retired from Elmwood School in Zion. Lorraine was a member of Trinity United Lutheran Church in Waukegan and also attended the United Methodist Church of Winthrop Harbor. Lorraine is survived a brother, Rev. Dr. Willard (Virginia) Blomquist of Waukegan, IL; nieces, Anne Malecki of Libertyville, IL, and Kathryn (James) MacNeil of Crown Point, IN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin J. Morgan; father and mother, Arvid and Signe (Skog) Blomquist; and brother, Donald Blomquist. A Memorial Service will held on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Lutheran Church, 658 Grand Ave., Waukegan, IL. Friends may greet the family on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
