Obituary of Carole A. Ruiz

Carole A. Ruiz, 77, passed away August 5, 2018. Carole was born October 13, 1940 at Victory Hospital in Waukegan, Illinois.

She grew up in Waukegan and attended Antioch High School as a teenager. On December 28 of 1957, she was joined in marriage to her beloved husband, Peter Ruiz Sr. She worked at US Cable for many years until the time of her retirement  in 1992. Carole is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Peter; her children, Trina Ruiz, Peter Ruiz Jr., Rick (Stacey) Ruiz, Renae (Lyman) Faber Sr., Lisa Ruiz (Pedro Serrano), and Tracy Ruiz (Keith Repp); as well as a very special friend, Mike Miceli. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Danielle Ruiz, Lyman Faber Jr., Jade (Kevin) Larsen, Arissa, Michaela, and Corina Ruiz; her great-grandchildren, Jaylah Ruiz, Kameryn, Caroleyn Larsen; her sister, Sharon (John) Rodriguez Sr.; and a very large extended family.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents, Ivar Farmen, Ellen Lukauskas; and her siblings, Barbara Spaid, Sue Hill, and Fred Farmen.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 10, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Service at 6:30 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, Illinois 60099.
