Obituary of Shane Colella

Shane Colella, 37, of Zion, IL, died suddenly on September 5, 2018.

Shane was born May 6, 1981 in Libertyville, IL.  He attended Zion-Benton Township High School.  He was a loving and devoted father and cheer Dad, and a motorcycle and car enthusiast.  He was also a huge Chicago sports fan, dart and billiard player.  Shane was a loving and caring selfless person to all.

Shane is survived by his daughters, Ryeah and Rozalyn Colella; the mother of his children, Jenine Gohl; his father, Kevin Wates; mother, Debra Colella; and many brothers, sisters, other family, and dear friends.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion.  A memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.  Please visit the online guest book at www.congdonfuneralhome.com.
